This Browser Storage Policy explains how sssh.red ("us", "we", or "our") uses data stored in your browser's local storage when you visit sssh.red (the "Site").
Information We Store
When you create a short link, the Site stores a recent-links list in your browser so that you can see links created in that browser. The list includes:
- The generated short code.
- The destination URL you submitted.
- The link expiration value returned by the service.
How We Use Browser Storage
We use the information stored in your browser's local storage for the following purposes:
- To display the Your Link(s) table on the Home page.
- To let you copy, preview, generate a QR code for, or hide a recent link.
What Browser Storage Does Not Do
The recent-links list stays in your browser and is not used to identify you or authenticate an account. Hiding a link removes it from that browser's list; it does not disable the short link itself. A QR image is generated and stored with the short link on the service's Amazon Web Services infrastructure. The image itself is not stored in your recent-links list.
Managing Browser Storage
You can manage or delete data stored in your browser's local storage through your browser settings. Please refer to your browser's help documentation for instructions on how to do this.
Changes to this Policy
We reserve the right to update or change this Browser Storage Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated policy on this page.
