Welcome to sssh.red ("us", "we", or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website sssh.red (the "Site").
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access the Site.
Service Description
The Site provides a no-account URL-shortening service. New links normally use a randomized three-character code, with an automatic four-character fallback after repeated collisions. Links are scheduled to expire one year after creation, although automated cleanup may not occur at the exact expiration time. We may reject, disable, expire, or remove links as described in these Terms.
Public Links and Availability
Short URLs and QR codes are public, may be guessed or discovered, and redirect without a destination-preview page. Do not use the Site to shorten confidential URLs or URLs containing passwords, access tokens, password-reset tokens, signed query strings, or other secrets. The service is not an access-control system. We do not guarantee that a particular short code or link will remain available.
Intellectual Property
The Site and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by sssh.red and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.
Submitted Content
You represent that you have the right to submit each destination URL, report, or support message you provide. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, transmit, and display that material only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, and enforce the service, comply with law, and apply the retention practices described in our Privacy Policy. You retain any ownership rights you have in submitted material.
No Account or Short-Code Ownership
The Site does not require an account and does not provide ownership, reservation, or exclusive control of a short code. There is no self-service editing or deletion feature. After a link expires or is removed, a code that has not been permanently blocked for abuse may later be assigned to another destination.
Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Use the Site in any unlawful manner or to violate the rights of another person;
- Create or distribute links used for phishing, credential theft, malware, fraud, impersonation, spam, deceptive advertising, or unwanted bulk messaging;
- Shorten content that facilitates exploitation, harassment, threats, hate, or other harmful conduct;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site or any systems or networks connected to the Site;
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Site or servers or networks connected to the Site;
- Use automation to create links, evade verification or rate limits, enumerate short codes, scrape the Site, or abuse service resources;
- Circumvent safety screening, tombstones, blocks, technical restrictions, or enforcement actions;
- Misrepresent a sssh.red link as private, authenticated, or endorsed by us.
Safety Screening and Enforcement
We may use automated and manual measures to screen destinations, rate-limit or block requests, disable or remove links, preserve permanent block records known as tombstones, retain evidence of suspected abuse, and report conduct when reasonably necessary. Safety screening reduces risk but does not guarantee that a destination is safe, lawful, or trustworthy. A destination can also change after a link is created. You remain responsible for links you create and destinations you visit.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, sssh.red shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use, reputation, or access, arising out of or in connection with the Site, a short link, a destination, or an enforcement action. Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to them, the Site, or the service shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any legal action or proceeding shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Broward County, Florida, United States, and each party consents to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts. You remain responsible for complying with all laws that apply to you and your use of the service.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated Terms on this page.
